In a lot of ways, the original newsgroup was a magic and wonderful place. We were all very sad when the sex spammers and trolls forced us to shut ASL down and move to ASLM. Here are some messages of farewell and appreciation to ASL, posted on the original newsgroup in summer of 1997, during the week before Sunny pulled the plug on it. |
